Large Predators

Large predators including Coyotes, Foxes, Bobcats and Mountain Lions are among the animals that can be dangerous if transported by someone who has not had training, and you can often cause more harm than good by trying to catch and transport them yourself.  Contact a wildlife professional or your local animal control agency immediately if you feel a predator is in need of medical attention.

If you encounter a healthy predator, give it an escape route as it will always choose to avoid human confrontation; however, if cornered, it will not back down and will defend itself aggressively.
